Privacy policy
This policy explains what Stratford Removals does with the information you give us. In plain terms: we use it to answer your enquiry and arrange your move, and we don’t sell it or pass it around.
Who we are
Stratford Removals is a removals company based in Stratford, East London, providing house, flat, tower and office moves across E15 and E20 and international removals to Europe. For any question about your data, email hello@stratford-removals.co.uk.
What we collect
When you use our quote form or contact us, we collect only what you choose to send:
- Your name, so we know who we’re talking to.
- Your phone number and email address, so we can reply.
- Your pickup and drop-off addresses, so we can plan and price the move.
- Your preferred moving date, if you give one.
- Any notes you add about the job.
We don’t ask for anything we don’t need. There’s no account to create and no marketing sign-up buried in the form.
How we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and — if you go ahead — organise and carry out your move, including the customs paperwork on an international job. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering the enquiries people send us.
Who sees it
Your enquiry reaches our team. Where we use trusted service providers to run the website and handle enquiries — for example the platform that hosts the site and the tools that carry form submissions and email — your details pass through them only so we can receive and reply to your message. For an international move, the necessary details are shared with the parties handling the crossing and customs, purely to complete your move. We do not sell your data or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Spam protection
The quote form uses Google reCAPTCHA to tell real enquiries from automated spam. Its use is subject to Google’s own privacy policy and terms.
Analytics and cookies
We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand which pages are useful, loaded only after the page is ready so it never slows your visit. This tells us how the site is used in aggregate — it isn’t used to identify you personally. The form itself sets only what’s needed to work and to guard against spam.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them — to deal with your move and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records and any follow-up — then remove them. If you’d like your details deleted sooner, ask and we’ll sort it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email hello@stratford-removals.co.uk and we’ll help. If you’re unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page. Please check back from time to time.
